How do I pay?

We send email you a Tax Invoice for payment for payment prior to your function. We accept EFT payments, Direct Transfer and or Visa/Mastercard.

Do you charge for delivery and or Travel?

Yes we charge $15.00 per delivery within the Rockampton area. Area’s outside of this are based on the destination. Travel charges also applied based on the destination.

How will my catering be presented?

All catering is sent on eco-friendly disposable platters. If you’d like that super-professional touch, talk to our friendly staff about providing melamine serving platters etc. All food deliveries come with dipping sauces & napkins packed.

Do we get staff to come and serve?

The majority of Lickity menu packages are inclusive of trained and uniformed staff who arrive on time and are smartly dressed in our company uniform. All staff are trained in safe food handling methods. We do not hire our staff without an order of food from our menu’s.

Do you offer a clean-up service?

Once the food has been served, our staff will clean your kitchen back to its former glory before they leave.

How much food should I order for my cocktail function?

The right amount of food for a cocktail event depends on what time it’s being held, whether alcohol is being served and how hungry your guests are. For an evening function we would usually recommend five canapes and at least one or two of our fork food items.

Can I design a menu specifically for my event?

Yes, of course. If you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for on our menus, we can create a selection just for you. Please note that this will be a more expensive option depending on your selections.

Do I need to tell you my budget?

Yes! This is SUPER important. No matter what your budget is, tell us up front so that we can design the best event possible within your parameters. We’re used to working within most budgets. We much rather provide you with a realistic quote first time around than waste your time designing something that’s never going to suit.

Do you set the tables?

Yes we can. Our staff can set your tables with crockery, cutlery & linen look pre folded napkins. Please ask your event manager for more information.

What time will you arrive before the event starts?

Arrival time vary depending on the numbers of guests, style of function & other setup requirements. We like to be onsite at least half an hour before service to ensure your event is given the attention to detail it deserves.

How long will the catering staff be at the venue?

Our staff each attract a minimum shift of three hours (functions going over time may occur further costs). We will always ensure the premise is left clean and tidy and will never leave before the event manager on site has checked this and notified you that we are leaving.

I am having a wedding in a marquee or private property, what facilities do you need?

We require an under covered (preferred) flat clear area, access to clean running water and a dedicated circuit or separate generator. If these are not present, we can supply ourselves for a fee.

Where will the food be prepared?

Lickity Fingers Catering has a certified commercial kitchen where everything is prepared and completed on site where necessary.

Do you have dietary options available?

Absolutely! We cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, paleo and many more.

Will I have enough food?

Our serving are generally one piece per person (unless otherwise stated). Some factors that may influence your menu quantities:

  • A high male to female ratio
  • Time of day – meal times vs in-between meals
  • Alcohol-free functions can require a little less food than where alcohol is served
